Blasphemous is, in the humble opinion of this scribe, a prominent game of Metroidvania / Souls-like / insert-iffy-comparison-here on Switch. He is grumpy, sometimes domineering and overly bloody, and certainly rather immersive. It’s had some free content updates and additions since its release two years ago, and now we know there are a month to come.
During Gamescom’s Awesome Indies Show, it was revealed that the game’s “final chapter” arrives as a free update on December 9th: it’s titled “Wounds of Eventide” and had some pretty nice introductory animation (above).
It was also announced that a full sequel – Blasphem IIOf course, it is in development and is scheduled for release in 2023.
Let us know in the comments if you plan to make this next DLC in Blasphemous.
