The Boston Celtics acquire Orlando Magic’s Evan Fournier for selections

The Boston Celtics are finalizing a deal to acquire Orlando Magic escort Evan Fournier for two second-round picks before today’s exchange deadline, ESPN sources told Adrian Wojnarowski .

The Magic have already switched to Nikola Vucevic and now Fournier and are entertaining offers for Aaron Gordon. There are rumors that the Celtics are also interested in Gordon.

Orlando will get major assets in the draft Thursday and has young players Jonathan Isaac and Markelle Fultz under long-term contract.

Fournier, 28, is averaging 19.7 points (the best figure of his career) and 3.7 assists per game this season.

In his nine-year career, Fournier averaged 14.4 points per game. It gives the Celtics a solid scoring option from the bench.
