The brand new PS5 version of Best Buy is down better than expected

Purchasing a PlayStation 5 has been a miserable chase for many users around the world over the past few months, but it seems to be finally starting to get a little easier to hook up with Sony’s next-generation console. If today’s last replenishment that has happened at Best Buy is an indication, the next few weeks and months may bring more smiles than sadness.

Best Buy has released a bunch of new PS5 units on sale today and, based on some of the customer responses on social media, the process has gone much better than ever. While not everyone was able to take over the PS5 today, the number of success stories seems to be much higher than normal.

Part of the reason this could be so is that Best Buy has released several waves of PS5 consoles today. Although the first wave began operating early this morning, the units continued to appear in stock until well into the afternoon throughout the day. Those who remained constant in their attempts to pick up the system were apparently rewarded as long as things stayed long enough.

Another reason why things seemed to be so much more successful today is that Best Buy began to limit orders to certain regions and stores. Meantbviamente, this meant that some potential customers could not get a PS5 if their local store had no stock, but overall, the chain of commerce seems to consolidate its supply to the store a bit more. In no time, maybe that means we’ll start to see the PlayStation 5 appear on the shelves.

Have you already been able to pick up a PS5 for yourself? And did you try to get the console at Best Buy today? Be sure to let me know via the comments or via Twitter at @ MooreMan12.

Be sure to keep reading if you want to see reactions from those who have also followed the PS5 today.

It lasted forever, but it worked
