The British ‘Indiana Jones’ claims that the Holy Grail is in England

An amateur archaeologist christened as the British Indiana Jones claims that the largest relic in the world is hidden in a secret crypt in Hounslow, west London.

Barrie-Jon Bower, 40, believes the Knights Templar captured the Holy Grail during the Crusades and took it back to a crypt secreted by a dam in the artificial river of the Duke of Northumberland, according to the Sun.

Bower spent the last few years studying the Templars and was so convinced that he received permission from the Environment Agency, that he will divert the river so that they can bring special equipment to inspect the riverbed.

The archeology enthusiast has invested thousands of dollars in his own ground-breaking radar equipment to prove his theory early next year.

“When he finds it, it will be one of the greatest discoveries in history: the greatest discovery of humanity,” he told the Sun. “I was in the water now and it made me safer. It feels empty. It feels right. There is something below. Why not Hounslow? ”

Legend has it that the Grail — the cup Jesus drank at the Last Supper — has immeasurable power and has been sought after for centuries by many, including treasure hunters, archaeologists, and Nazis.
