A federal judge ordered the authorities of the Penitentiary of maximum security of the Plateau, in the State of Mexico, to end the presumed ill-treatment that is applied to Jose Antonio Yépez Ortiz, The Brown, Leader of the cartel of Santa Rosa de Lima, who also reported that he is segregated from the rest of the population.

Adrián Rivera López, Second District Judge of Amparo and Federal Trials in the Second Circuit, granted a plan and ex officio suspension to The Brown, The same that protects him from the alleged violations he claims are committed against his person.
“The petitioner is granted the suspension of plan and ex officio, due to the effect that the acts claimed consisting of the order to have him removed from the population, segregated, ill-treatment and torture of those he alleges is being the subject cease immediately, as well as with respect to any other act prohibited by Article 22 of the Constitution and 126 “, the agreement details.
The judge also granted the suspension for authority to toast to The Brown medical care regarding their sufferings and provide them with necessary medications based on your health status, In terms of the laws and regulations governing Social Rehabilitation Centers and in accordance with the medical prescriptions established in their clinical record.

Rivera López ordered the federal authorities to report within 24 hours on the form and terms in which they have complied with the suspension of office and plan, and must attach to the report a certified copy of the respective evidence, in order to prove that they say.
He also ordered José Antonio Yépez to ratify the demand for protection, as otherwise the suspension will cease to have effect.
The judge left it pending to decide whether or not to grant the provisional suspension on the issue of authorizing the persons proposed for visit.
On August 2, elements of the Guanajuato Army and Attorney General’s Office captured The Brown in the municipality of Santa Cruz de Juventino Roses.
