The Buccaneers made a big comeback from their pie week on Sunday, dropping the Vikings and moving the season to 8-5.
After the game, Bucks Boss called Rusher Shock Barrett Bye Week “the perfect time” and the team needed a break. It “allowed them to focus and take care of issues that need to be addressed, so we will not make the same mistakes we made.”
Safety didn’t seem great at first, and Barrett agreed that a “flexible but unbreakable” approach was not the best. However, he said the inability to get points at one point in Minnesota’s game helped significantly when the Vikings were playing more than Tampa.
“I mean, tell the field goalie that we appreciate him,” Barrett said, adding that Vikings footballer Dan Bailey had four misses on Sunday.
Barrett was smiling as he said that. Bailey, the Vikings and their fans certainly didn’t laugh at any point on Sunday.
