Twelve people have died and 11 more have been injured after a trailer and a minibus in central Russia
FLY – Twelve people were killed and 11 were injured in the collision of a tractor-trailer and a minibus in central Russia.
The Russian Interior Ministry said in a statement on Saturday that the collision took place on Friday near Syzran, in the Samara region, about 730 kilometers (450 miles) southeast of Moscow.
Preliminary information indicated that the tractor-trailer slid and deviated toward an approaching lane.
Russia’s Committee of Inquiry said it had opened a criminal investigation. The condition of the truck driver was not reported.
