The COVID-19 vaccination clinic for Fox Cities will open next week

APPLETON, Wisconsin (WBAY) – A COVID-19 vaccination clinic is now scheduled to open for Fox Cities next week.

City officials in Appleton announced the clinic’s opening on Wednesday afternoon, saying a press conference with more details about the clinic will be held Thursday afternoon.

According to city officials, the clinic is scheduled to open Feb. 2 and local health departments and health care systems have teamed up to open the clinic.

The clinic will be at the Fox Cities Exhibition Center, located at 355 W. Lawrence Lawrence Street in Appleton.

The COVID-19 tests will move to Reid Golf Course, which can be found at 1100 E. Fremont Street in Appleton from Monday, February 1st.

Thursday’s press conference to announce more details about the clinic is scheduled for 4 p.m.

Clinical leaders from Ascension Wisconsin and ThedaCare are expected to speak at the event, as well as members of the Outagamie Department of Public Health, the City of Appleton Department of Public Health and Appleton Mayor Jake Woodford.
