βYour journey begins with the trail of a group of mysterious cultists causing trouble at Sanctuary,β Blizzard said of the upcoming devil III event. “As you search for them in adventure mode, you’ll discover clues that lead to a portal about Tristram’s past and the terrifying darkness that gripped the city so many years ago …”
Players can take the portal that will open in a few days to return to a cathedral that was present in the original Devil game. A pet butcher, banners, transmogrification effects and more rewards await inside the cathedral for those who are able to find them.
βWhile some rewards are easy to find, others can get you through every nook and cranny or unlock every hit before you can put them on,β Blizzard joked. βCan you beat them all? There is only one way to find out! β
Devil III The Darkening of Tristram event is scheduled to begin on December 31 and will be fully underway on January 3.
