Emergency personnel were dispatched shortly before 10 a.m. to Block 2900 in Las Positas, where the silver sedan had sheared the Southern California Edison mast next to the municipal golf course, Noozhawk told the fire engineer Kevin Corbett.
The driver, a 40-year-old man whose name was not available, suffered minor to moderate injuries and was taken by AMR ambulance to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.

Edison teams in Southern California responded to the scene to fix utility lines and Las Positas was closed between Stanley Drive and McCaw Avenue during repairs.
Some customers in the area reported energy after the crash, which was investigated by the Santa Barbara police department.
