The long joke that appears Saints Row the game is not a remake. He is not a remaster. It’s a totally different “re”: a re … boot. Developer Volition has announced the news today on the broadcast of Gamescom Opening Night Live. It’s just called Saints Row, and will be released on all platforms next February. Here is a trailer:
Saints Row, once a relatively popular series of open world games in the line of Grand Theft Auto, has had a few quiet years. The last main game in the series, Saints Row IV, came out in 2013, a halcyon era in which two completely new machines – the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4 – were ready to change the way we play. (Don’t hesitate if they did.) Then came the 2015 independent expansion, Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell. Last year, publisher Deep Silver released a remastered version of Saints Row: the third. He looked good, but he looked so old to me.
Whisper around a new one Saints Row the game dates back to 2019. But over the past week or so, they have risen to a quiet cry, thanks to the tweets of Geoff Keighley and the officer Saint Row social media feeds. The official website of the series also showed a screenshot with the word “reboot” pasted in the center. KotakuZack Zweizen pointed out that it probably has nothing to do with him Mayhem agents spinoff, which is defined in an alternate timeline.
Like previous games, this novelty Saints Row is an open world action game. You play as a member of a crime syndicate. You fire weapons and drive from a third-person perspective. It is located in the American Southwest and is full of explosions, fireworks and neon colors. Sounds like a lot of fun. The game will be released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S and PC on February 25, 2022.
