A former flight attendant has warned U.S. travelers not to take vouchers if they ever inadvertently have a full flight, because they are entitled to cash.
Sandra Jeenie Kwon spent two and a half years working as an Emirates Airlines flight attendant and learned quite a few tricks and secrets from the airlines at work, which she generously shares with her TikTok fans.
In a recent video, Sandra breaks down why passengers who receive an overbooked flight and never have to settle for a voucher when traveling to or from a U.S. location.

“If you fly to or from the United States and you inadvertently leave the flight due to an overbooking, don’t accept the voucher!” he says emphatically.

The amount of cash depends on the length of the delay, as well as whether it is national or international.
