An Air Canada Boeing 737 Max ferry flight to Montreal was diverted to Arizona earlier this week due to an engine problem, the airline said Friday.

Pilots on Air Canada Flight 2358 received an engine alert shortly after takeoff in Marana, Arizona on Tuesday, the airline said. The carrier had stored 737 Max planes there after the planes landed around the world in March 2019 after two fatal crashes.

“As part of the normal operating procedures in these situations, it was decided to shut down an engine” and diverted to Tucson, Air Canada said. The flight carried three crew members and no passengers. The plane remains in Tucson.

Boeing declined to comment and asked questions to the airline.

The Belgian aviation site Aviation24.be said the plane had a “low pressure hydraulic indication”. Air Canada did not immediately respond to a new request for comment.

U.S. authorities lifted the plane ban last month after Boeing made changes to the software involved in both crashes and addressed other concerns. Canadian officials last week approved aircraft design changes.
