Well, at least now it will be the same for both parties
Before everyone had the impression that Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition would end up with 45 playable characters on their list when all is said and done, but now we know that number is actually 46.
Capcom recently announced that the Eleven Shape Modifier will join the cast during the Winter Update presentation and they also showed off the look of the character selection screen once he and Dan are added in the coming days.
Those expecting some sort of user interface review of the Arcade Edition gold and studio theme will probably be disappointed to see that things will remain the same in season 5, which isn’t too surprising, as Champion Edition nor did he change it. However, the players in general seem quite happy.
It’s interesting to see that Eleven will get its own standard character slot despite being a “random selection” character as we’ve seen in other games like Mokujin for Tekken.
If we beat the final number of characters, the number is the same again, so we won’t have to look at any other Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite Situation for the rest of the game’s life.
Dan and Eleven will join the game along with the season 5 update following the Capcom Pro Tour 2020 season finale on February 22, 2021, where the copycat fighter will be included with any of the versions of the last season pass of the game.
