IPhone 13 models are expected to feature a smaller notch and we can share a first look at the potential design.
Greek repair provider iRepair has provided MacRumors with an alleged photo of front glass panels for iPhone 13 models, with the same screen sizes of 5.4 inches, 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches as the iPhone line 12. The notch on each iPhone is visibly smaller as a result of the headset speaker moving up to the top bezel, a design option that was first rumored in the models. iPhone 12 last year, but that did not materialize.
Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, and a few other sources, previously stated that a few components of Face ID will be consolidated into iPhone 13 models, resulting in a smaller oscillation, but not they mentioned replacing the handset.
The notch design hasn’t changed since it debuted on the iPhone X in 2017. After reducing the oscillation this year, Kuo said Apple plans to switch to a perforated screen design for at least some iPhone models. of 2022, similar to Samsung’s Galaxy S21 and other recent smartphones, followed by an iPhone with a true full-screen design with no notch or holes and a fingerprint scanner under the screen as early as 2023.
Beyond the category, iPhone 13 models are expected to have a design virtually identical to iPhone 12 models, with key new features including a 120 Hz display on Pro models, larger batteries, a chip A15 faster and camera enhancements. Apple is expected to unveil the iPhone 13 range in September, marking a return to its usual launch period.
