Magic: the encounter is planned to announce new crossings with other popular fantastic properties, including lord of the Rings i Warhammer 40,000. Hasbro will announce the crossovers later today at an investor event, along with a reorganization that will turn Wizards of the Coast into its own division. The Wall Street Journal was the first to report the news Warhammer 40,000 i lord of the Rings both will come to Magic: the encounter, with lord of the Rings achieving full expansion. It is currently unclear whether Warhammer 40,000 you will get a full expansion, or if it is a Secret Lair drop similar to a crossover with The walking Dead.
Wizards of the Coast had a huge 2020, with revenues of more than $ 800 million Magic: the encounter i Dungeons and dragons. The Hasbro division is on track to double its revenue between 2018 and 2023 thanks to a boom in its two core properties. The other divisions will be a division of consumer projects that includes toys, while entertainment is responsible for licensing, distribution and production of film and television content.
