God of War 2018 is an excellent game for many reasons, but one of its most unique aspects is its cinematography. From the start of the adventure to the closing sequence, the camera never cuts, as it is an uninterrupted shot, whether game or scene. Perhaps not surprisingly, it seems that God of War Ragnarok will also follow this rule.
In response to a Twitter fan, Matt Sophos, the sequel’s narrative director, claims that the game’s camera will be “An uninterrupted shot like 2018.”
In the grand scheme of things, it’s not something many people will think about while playing, but not having the camera ever cut gives the adventure a unique feel. There is never any interruption in the action, that keeps you in the world and participates in what is happening. He is very smart and we are happy to see that the trend continues in Ragnarok.
In related news, we recently saw Thor for the first time, and we also know that the sequel will end the Nordic history of the series. Are you excited about God of War Ragnarok? Do you like the one-shot camera approach? Continue the scene in the comments section below.
