Beyond being listed as one of the most fashionista officials of recent times, Kamala Harris has surprised with the clothes she chose to be sworn in as the first woman to hold the vice presidency of the United States.
The reason goes beyond glamor and good taste. Apparently, the Democrat took advantage of the fact that the eyes of the world would be on top to send a strong message with the color of his clothing.

In such a way that the choice of the color purple was not based on the fact that it “contrasted” with its skin tone. Harris was interested in clearly conveying her feminist message.
The official has been in favor of this social movement that seeks equal rights between men and women.
It is also speculated that the color purple would be a tribute to the first women who could vote in the country, in 1920, after a series of demonstrations and requests.
