The implantation of the coronavirus vaccine continues in South Florida

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – The deployment of COVID-19 vaccines continues in South Florida, as more shots were administered Saturday.

Long queues of cars as people wait to get vaccinated today in Miami’s tropical park.

Across Miami-Dade County, access to the vaccine for people over 65 is expanding, but so is demand.

Baptist Health South Florida booked thousands of appointments moments after launching its online dating portal and is now slowing down scheduling more.

At Hard Rock Stadium, there will be a limited amount for next week, but many of those who showed up without appointments were turned down.

In Broward County there are more lines and more waits.

Lauderhill elders told Local 10 News they had to browse failed websites and practice patience.

Like Miami-Dade, several driving locations are open to the public in Broward, but supplies are limited.
