The Jets’ cornerbacks did quite a bit against the Eagles

Three take the Jets 31-31 with the Eagles, their preseason finale on Friday night.

1. The Corners had a hard night. You could undo it, as the problems occur mostly when there were backups on the field, but it’s likely the Jets will need those backups to play this season. Joe Flacco caught rookie Isaiah Dunn with his back turned and beat him for a touchdown pass. The Jets ’young cornerbacks will be an important story this season.

2. The Eagles had big lanes against the Jets defense. The Jets didn’t have Quinnen Williams and Sheldon Rankins in the center, so it’s no panic, but for the second week in a row, the defense gave the opponent big lanes to run.

3. The preseason is over, thank you all. The Jets had a productive training ground, but defensive end injury Carl Lawson will develop during his season and could be the most significant development of the summer.
