The King of Fighters 15 character designer shows Benimaru feeling handsome with his hair down

I like it almost as much as its normal look

After being silent for more than a year, SNK is doing a good job of continuously posting smaller information about King of Fighters 15 even outside of the trailers.

Character designer and main illustrator of the game, Tomohiro Nakata, launches small visions of the developers on the look of the cast this week centered on Benimaru. He is also a little different from the others we have seen so far considering he presents a new portrait of the handsome boy with the low hair.

Although, over the years, we have seen him without his hair with electric spikes over the years, it is rarer to get an official work of art to represent him in this way.

Nakata points out that the team had a strict policy not to remove any features that make Benimaru who is his main core and assures fans that he is still as smooth as ever.

Benimaru works on a new team this time with Shun’ei and Meitenkun to fight the main heroes where he has been set up to be his protector and mentor, though some joke that Kyo makes him a kangaroo as well.

Instead of the tight t-shirts or belly jackets he wore in previous games, the KOF veteran looks set to wear more Chinese dress shirt this time around.

It’s interesting to see how only a hair change can change a character’s tone considering that Benimaru looks so much more serious in this work of art than what we saw in the trailer.

With the high probability that King of Fighters 15 will have, these weekly casualties could continue for many months, although most fans still have no problem.
