PlayStation Store’s latest deal of the week gives PS4 and PS5 owners a chance to get hooked Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate for a 50% discount. Until March 18, the game will be available for $ 29.99, from its original price of $ 59.99. Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate includes the base game as well as the two Kombat packages, the Consequences expansion, and Shao Khan. It’s a lot of content for Mortal Kombat fans, so those who have held out so far are sure to want to grab it while the price is available for a few more days.
The timing of the sale works pretty well for Mortal Kombat fans. Next month will be published the mortal Kombat the live-action film reboots in theaters and on HBO Max. The film will not directly follow the continuity of the games, but will stay true to the series in other important ways. Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate it’s not mandatory to play anyone who sees the movie, but for those who have moved away from the series or just want to meet it early, the sale is a great excuse to do so.
Of couse, Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate it’s also a great entry into the franchise, which should be more than enough of an incentive for PlayStation fans to check it out. For those unfamiliar with the Kombat Packs, they both added a number of additional fighters that didn’t make the cut to the original game. Some of these include long-standing Mortal Kombat favorites like Mileena, Rain and Sindel, as well as guest characters like Spawn, Rambo and Joker. Consequences it also offers players a second campaign, so solo players can enjoy a good deal. Last but not least, the game has also received a new generation update recently, so it’s possible that PS5 owners will want to see how the game looks in 4K.
