The flood water was not the only thing high.
A man was seen adrift on a float in water believed to be somewhere in New York City while smoking a bong or hookah, viral video shows.
The clip, which is believed to have been made when the Big Apple, as it was flooded by rainstorms from rainstorms, shows a man in an athletic suit and sneakers, casually resting on the inflatable in the disappointed alley.
The man is seen smoking from the apparatus, resting his head on the raft and blowing plumes of smoke as he moved into the murky waters, while the torrential rain threw him from above.
It was not immediately known who was in the video or if it was a trick on social media, but it has already been seen more than half a million times later Barstool Sports posted it on Twitter with the text: “New York is underwater, but this guy is living his best life.”
“That’s how you become a mutant,” the Twitter user says Tommy once wrote in response.
“I have hepatitis just seeing this,” McSteely joked.
“Welp up here Covid-21. Thank you patient zero, ”he added Scotty doesn’t know.
“Nothing like a good old man floating on the Listeria River” wrote another.
During the night, the Big Apple was affected by rapid flooding and more than three inches of rain in just one hour. At least eight people have died.
