Oh, damn it!
A mariachi gang appeared Sunday in front of Senator Ted Cruz’s house to try to drive him a little crazy after his doomed trip to Cancun, Mexico.
The five musicians, dressed in hats and charro, filled the air with traditional music, especially the staccato sounds of very loud trumpets, according to a video on Twitter shown on WTRF.
Adam Jama, of Carrollton, Texas, created a GoFundMe page for the band to take out the police and made the donations go to Texas Children’s Hospital.
“Senator Cruz, being an amazing father, left his family in Cancun in the midst of a major crisis and returned to Texas to continue serving his constituents. We want to thank Senator Cruz for his leadership and pay for a Mariachi band “No one should go to Cancun and not listen to Mariachi,” says the seemingly cheeky page, which raised $ 300 from its $ 1,000 goal.
One woman donated $ 25 “in memory of Ted Cruz.”
The post on Twitter garnered mixed reactions, with several people expressing suspicion about the protest outside their Houston home with the impromptu performance.
“If I’m honest, I’m not sure how I feel about that. Definitely @SenTedCruz
deserves this ” wrote a user. “However, his children are his pawns and the ones he throws under the bus. However, they are irreproachable and should not be harassed even if it is fun. “
Another wrote: “It’s not a great idea if your kids are home, they can’t keep their father from being Ted Cruz.”
A third mentioned Cruz’s poor puppy, who was left alone at home on his way to the warm getaway during the winter storm that stormed his condition.
“Snowflake loves mariachi music,” said the user.
On Sunday, Cruz was in the midst of controlling the damage as he posted photos of himself on Twitter handing out water and meeting with jeans amid controversy.
Cruz returned to Houston on Thursday, a day after he and his family were photographed on a plane to Cancun and text messages from his wife, Heidi, revealed they told his friends they were leaving. the climate of “FREEZING” and headed for the Ritz. Carlton Resort.
At first, he said he only escorted his daughters and friends on the flight and planned to return immediately, but later admitted he planned to stay with his family until Saturday.
