IPhone 13 leaks have already revealed disturbing new updates that could make iPhone 12 owners regret their purchase and now the biggest one has probably been confirmed. But not in the way most Apple fans would have expected.

In a new exclusive and reliable Korean site, ET News has revealed that the super-smooth 120Hz ProMotion screens that were tactile for the iPhone 12 range will now reach the iPhone 13 range. But only for the more expensive models.
ET News explains that ProMotion will be restricted to the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max because Apple does not adapt to the expensive LTPO (low temperature polycrystalline oxide) panels on the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Mini . LTPO panels compensate for high 120 Hz battery consumption by allowing dynamic refresh rates of up to 1 Hz, for tasks such as email reading and web browsing.

The problem with this is that the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Mini will not be cheap phones. Through stealthy cuts, Apple has quietly raised the price of the iPhone 12 to $ 870 for the same package as the $ 699 iPhone 11 and this puts it in a price range where almost all rivals Android already have 120Hz panels. It should be noted that the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE has a 120Hz panel and costs only $ 699.
Yes, given what we already know about the expected design changes to the iPhone 13, 5G improvements, increased storage, and security updates, the omission of ProMotion may be something that buyers may overlook. That said, given the price increases Apple is introducing on a daily basis, the argument that fans should commit to the features normally offered by rivals is increasingly hard to swallow.
