The fourth installment of “The matrix“, Which will be titled” The Matrix: Resurrections “, was this Tuesday the strongest bet of Warner Bros. for its CinemaCon event, the largest big-screen business fair and which has returned this week to Las Vegas.
The studio announced the title of the fourth film in this influential and successful sci-fi saga and also showed the first trailer for this film in which Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss return.
“The Matrix”: What will the film be about?
With countless references to “Alice in Wonderland,” including Jefferson Airplane’s song “White Rabbit,” this clip from “The Matrix: Resurrections” features a “Neo” (Reeves) who remembers nothing of his cybernetic and existential adventures. with one foot in “Matrix” and another in reality.
With the enigmatic aroma typical of “The Matrix”, this trailer relapses into themes such as the search for truth, picks up emblems of the saga as the choice of the tablet, and insists once again on the most spectacular action.
Llana Wachowski, co-director of the first three films with her sister Lilly Wachowski, has been behind the camera in this film, which will be released on December 22 and which continues “The Matrix” (1999), “The Matrix Reloaded” and “The Matrix Revolutions” (both 2003).
For now, and as usual at CinemaCon, the preview of “The Matrix,” in addition to the vast majority of snacks offered today by Warner Bros., will be a secret only for convention attendees as it has not been made public on the internet.
