FIREWORKS.- They did not manage to appear all in the snapshots that accompany this work, because there is no pause in the fast track that they have drawn up between the pharmacy of the hospital Gustavo Aldereguía Lima and the central building. After ten o’clock at night, by telephone, some of these boys explained in bursts what they had experienced in those days. “It’s a place where there’s not a minute’s rest. The night is as intense or more so than the day. The flow is constant so that the income arrives at any time. Patients may get worse, or have some complication. And in part it is also in our hands to bring relief promptly, ”he explained to JR Adrián Adalberto Camps Moya, optometrist and general secretary of the Committee of the Union of Young Communists (UJC) at the UCM.
Anaiquis Chacón Díaz, a second-year medical student, expressed that “one day we are united with the delivery of the guard on the other. It doesn’t stop here. I really consider pharmacists when they have no help in here.

Each university contributed 20 young people, divided into brigades of ten. The night guard is covered by five, who then rest for 72 hours.
