The Milwaukee Bucks set a triple record against the Miami Heat

Snow may have been falling from the sky in Milwaukee, but in Miami Tuesday night, the Bucks were making it rain from beyond the arc.

The Milwaukee Bucks set the NBA record in a single 3-point field goal game, with 29 in a 144-97 victory over the Miami Heat.

The only Bucks player to play and not make a triple was the current one Most Valuable Player i Defensive of the Year, Giannis Antetokounmpo, who finished with nine points.

Khris Middleton led the way with 25 points (4 of 5 vs. 3), while Jrue Holiday added 24 points (6 of 10) when the Bucks won on the first night of a back-to-back against Miami.

His 47-point victory also tied as the third-highest on a conference-defending champion, according to research by ESPN information and statistics.

“Some nights the basketball gods are with you a little bit, and it’s probably one of those nights for us,” Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer said.
