WALLED LAKE, Michigan (WXYZ) – A family is mourning after a murder in Walled Lake, involving a 50-year-old man stabbed in his home.
A roommate of the victim has been arrested and detained, according to neighbors who saw him removed from the house with handcuffs.
“He definitely didn’t deserve that, he was a good person,” says Nancy Johnston, mother of Todd Hall, 50.
Nancy tells us that it is unknown what fueled the violence inside the house that caused her son’s death.
So far, police have released few details about what happened.
Todd Hall is described as a loving father and someone who would always help others in need.
He was stabbed to death at 11pm on Wednesday night, allegedly by a friend and roommate.
Police continue to gather evidence at the Dover Hill Road home near Maple and Pontiac Trail.
