The mother of the “riot duet” is now accused of conspiracy in the siege of the Capitol

The mother of a Tennessee man accused of wearing zippers inside the U.S. Capitol has been accused of conspiring with her son during the violent siege.

The FBI arrested Lisa Eisenhart, 56, in Nashville, Tennessee, on Saturday on charges of conspiracy, illegal entry into a restricted building and violent entry or disorderly conduct for allegedly breaking into the Capitol on January 6, according to a criminal complaint.

His son Eric Munchel, who was photographed caught with zippers and paramilitary equipment inside the Capitol, was arrested on similar charges on Jan. 10.

U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Tennessee announced the mother’s arrest on Twitter, next to a photo of the mother-son duo showing Eisenhart in a red “Make America Great Again” hat and a black tactical vest. You can see Munchel dressed in black.

The complaint alleges that Eisenhart also wore “flexible cuffs” or “plastic restraints,” as did her son, while she and Munchel joined a crowd of riots chasing two police officers.

“Video footage from inside the U.S. Capitol captures Eisenhart and Munchel in the vicinity of a crowd of individuals who are physically attacking two Capitol Police officers guarding the entrance to the Senate, ”the legal record says.

“The images finally show that the agents pass in front of Eisenhart and Munchel, several members of the mafia are chasing. Right after passing, Eisenhart and Munchel are immediately behind the people chasing the officers, ”he says.

“Munchel and Eisenhart are seen holding flexible fists on each of their hands during the chase,” the complaint states.

On Thursday, FBI Director Christopher Wray said more than 100 people have been arrested in the Capitol Hill attack that killed five people and more than 200 suspects have been identified.
