The Nevada Highway Patrol identifies drivers in a fatal crash near the Moapa Valley

MOAPA VALLEY (KTNV) – The Nevada Highway Patrol has identified the two drivers involved in a fatal accident on Interstate 15 near the Moapa Valley at 9:30 p.m. Thursday.

According to the agency, a Toyota Tacoma driven by Rayanne May Walters, 39, of Logandale, was traveling the wrong way on I-15.

Officers say the van was heading north down the southbound lane near Mile Marker 101 in Clark County (near Moapa Valley) at the same time as a Mercedes Sprinter van was traveling south.

The drivers of the van have been identified by authorities as Dylan Jeffrey Hazelhurst, 30, of Grand Junction, Colorado.

The two vehicles crashed head-on. Both drivers were pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident is still being investigated.
