The new county of Hanover reports an alarming increase in deaths from COVID-19

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WECT) – New Hanover County reported an alarming number of recent COVID-19 deaths on a Facebook post on Wednesday.

During the first two weeks of September, the number of deaths per COVID has exceeded the total number of deaths recorded in August, with 30 recorded so far.

The message says ages and health conditions varied, but most were not vaccinated.

Another alarming statistic is that one in 503 people in the United States has died from COVID-19 since the onset of the pandemic.

At the time of writing, according to the CDC board, 662,620 deaths from COVID-19 have been reported among the 330.3 million U.S. population.
