The Leaker known as “DuanRui” has has shared more images this could give us the best look you can see so far on the redesigned version of Apple for the iPhone 13. The new images follow similar images shared by Leaker last week, but the latest photos include a comparison with the ‘current iPhone 12.
DuanRui posted three images on Twitter that apparently come from Weibo, although details of the source are still unclear. They all include what appear to be “movie samples” or screensavers similar to those shown in the images above, except that a clear reduction in slot width can be seen here compared to the iPhone 12 .
The reduced width is activated by integrating the headset into the top frame, above the TrueDepth camera and Face ID components, indicated by the space left in the center. According to a report from the Japanese site Mac Otakara, the iPhone 13’s TrueDepth camera set “narrows” so that the receiver at the top of the screen will scroll to the edge of the case.
DigiTimes In February it was stated that the iPhone 13 will feature a redesigned Face ID system that will allow for a smaller notch at the top of the screen. Apple’s reliable analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has also said the iPhone 13 will have a smaller notch, though he did not mention that the handset will be replaced.
A previously leaked 3D printed mock-up suggests that, compared to the iPhone 12 Pro, the iPhone 13 Pro will have a 5.35mm high notch, as opposed to 5.30mm and 26.80mm width, from 34.83 mm.
The iPhone slot hasn’t changed since it debuted on the iPhone X in 2017, and Apple could take advantage of the redesign to include more details on the screen on either side of the notch, where cellular information is currently available. and the battery icon.
Other rumors of iPhone 13 have suggested that the device will have 120 Hz “ProMotion” screens, a faster A15 chip, bigger batteries and much more. Apple’s new smartphones are expected to fall in the fall. See our summary of the dedicated iPhone 13 for full details.
