Follow-up to yesterday’s report on next-generation iPad and iPad Pro models, Japanese site Mac Otakara has released a new report that shares some additional details on the upcoming iPad Pro models.
The report states that the updated 11 and 12.9-inch iPad Pro inch models should arrive in March and that the overall design remains the same as existing models with a few exceptions.
First, Mac Otakara claims that the 12.9-inch model will be about 0.5 mm thicker than the current model, a change that could be to adapt to a very noisy Mini-LED screen that would offer better screen performance compared to traditional LCDs. The 11-inch model will apparently maintain the same thickness as the current model, which coincides with rumors that only the 12.9-inch model will initially get the iniMini-LED screen pantalla.
Second, rear cameras are said to stand out less in upcoming models. The overall protection of the camera is maintained, but no additional protrusion of the camera lenses is needed, which leaves a flat protection of the camera.
Finally, there are apparently some changes in the design of the speakers, with the total number of speaker holes on the sides reduced by two-thirds and the position of the speaker holes has changed compared to current models.
