Fable 4, Perfect Dark, Everwild, and many of the great exclusives that Xbox Game Studios has announced and is working on will not be released anytime soon, or at least that’s what a new report claims. The PS5 has only been out for a few months, but it has already done so Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Demon souls, and more. And it will soon be added to that with Return, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, i Horizon Forbidden West. On the other hand, the Xbox Series X currently has no major exclusives, it doesn’t look like it’s going to change anytime soon. Has Halo Infinite, which is scheduled to be released later this year, but currently doesn’t have much more.
Speaking during a VCG podcast, Christopher Dring of GamesIndustry revealed that he has heard many of the great Xbox exclusives, such as Fable 4, years remain. In fact, Dring jokes that there may be another Xbox console before seeing some of these games released, stressing that Xbox fans are waiting a long wait.
“I have an Xbox Series X and I love it. I have a PS5 and I love it. I play on my PS5 for the amount of exclusive games I don’t have on the Xbox, “Dring said.” And when you look at the Xbox … Xbox has a lot of amazing studios and these games are coming, but I’ve had a few conversations with a few friends at Xbox Game Studios and the games they’ve announced – Everwild, Perfect Dark, Fable “I’m so far away.”
More or less, this is where the report ends. As always, what is there should be taken with a grain of salt. While the source in question is reputable, it does not change the fact that this is all unofficial variety information. In addition, it is subject to change.
Personally, I haven’t heard much from Xbox Game Studios, although I’ve heard some about things related to the development of the new Perfect Dark, which is conducting the brand new Xbox studio, The Initiative.
With the acquisition of Bethesda, Xbox finally has a portfolio of studios and talent that not only matches the consistent quality of PlayStation and Nintendo’s own production, but surpasses each of them. However, it may take a while for Xbox Game Studios to get their duck in a row and start firing at every cylinder.
