We’m still a few months away from launching the next OnePlus flagship, but that certainly has not stopped the sea of leaks, leaving out everything we need to know about the OnePlus 9. Has released a collection of photos of the standard OnePlus 9, giving us a better idea of what the final design will look like.
From the front and sides, the OnePlus 9 is a prototype unit that does not look any different from the 8T in these alleged photos. You get the same hole-punch aligned in the top-left corner of the scene, and again a headphone jack is not found. The display seems to have slightly more rounded corners, but it is difficult to be sure due to the poor quality of these images.
What really changed was the back of the phone. Camera lenses stick more from already durable homes and have a metal ring around them, which can be aesthetic and reflect the latest iPhones. However, this arrangement seems to be closely linked to the Oppo Renault 4 Pro, including the ‘Ultra Shot’ branding, which seems to take OnePo’s ‘Ultra Steady’ OnePlus. This is possible because the two sister companies often share their basic device development sites.
It is further speculated that the OnePlus 9 5G will get a 16MP camera on the front, while the main camera will have a 48MP sensor (although the specifications on the device tell a different story). From the phone point to the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chip and 8/128GB memory / storage configuration, some screen shots and cards have additional options. This handset runs on Android 11 and runs on the recently redesigned OxygenOS 11. Its display constantly measures 6.55-inches, matching both its predecessor resolution and refresh rate.
These images are closely linked to the gate renders we saw earlier as part of a separate leak. At this point, we expect OnePlus to add another phone to its flagship flagship – the OnePlus 9E, which looks like a step down from the standard 9. The previous report could have opted for the OnePlus initial release, and this could be a move to counter Samsung’s earlier Galaxy S21 release on the move.
