The legislation passed the House on Wednesday afternoon with a 220-112 vote.
The Post notes that accidental voting is not uncommon in legislatures at both the state and federal levels, although the consequences have been more shocking.
North Carolina Democratic Rep. Becky Carney, for example, accidentally helped legalize fracking in her state after vetoing a bill she had lobbied for, according to the newspaper. . Because changing his vote would change the outcome, Carney was not allowed to reverse his vote according to House rules, he added.
