With less than a month to go before its release, Nintendo has released a new general trailer for Metroid Dread. And yes, it still looks amazing.
You can check it out for yourself above; you’ll find plenty of gameplay and action to enjoy, as well as a more detailed look at how the two new amiibo will work in the game. The video has been released along with the latest edition of the Metroid Dread report, which this time explores Chozo’s story.
The Chozo were a very intelligent and technologically advanced bird species that believed that their purpose was to bring peace to the entire galaxy. However, this powerful civilization finally reached a breaking point and collapsed. Now, the remaining Chozo tend to avoid the galactic focus.
As you will see in the trailer, Samus will fight the Chozo this time, and there are some variants that you have to keep on:
A powerful and mysterious Chozo warrior suddenly attacks Samus. His right arm is equipped with an arm cannon, as is Samus. This figure is much higher than Samus and other Chozo soldiers and easily surpasses Samus in combat.
Chozo’s soldiers are equipped with a weapon that looks like a long spear. The trailer shows that they are highly capable fighters, with a scene showing them locked in a fierce fight with Samus.
Samus also has to deal with these combat robots created with advanced Chozo technology. They are powerful forces to consider, capable of moving at high speed and armed with an electromagnetic blade and an arm cannon that fires projectiles.
