A 6-year-old girl was sucked under a peloton treadmill, suffering from severe scratches and bruises, her father said Monday.

“It was pretty traumatic,” Brandon Ratliffe told ABC-TV’s “Good Morning America” about the incident involving model Peloton Tread + and his daughter Jocelyn, who provided photos of his very leg scratched, reddened and wounded.

“He fell and the tape stretched his leg underneath.”

Federal regulators issued an urgent warning over the weekend and told owners with children to stop using the Platoon Tread + after 39 incidents in which children were injured, including one in which one child died.

The feds released a terrifying video showing a boy being dragged under one of the devices. The boy was finally released and was fine.

“CPSC staff believe the Tread + Platoon poses serious risks to children from abrasions, fractures and deaths,” the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said in a statement on Saturday.

“In light of multiple reports of children trapped, fixed and lying under the rear roller of the product, CPSC urges consumers with children at home to stop using the product immediately.”

The agency said that if parents still want to continue using the machines, they should keep the equipment in a locked room away from children and pets and unplug it when not in use.

Peloton responded in a statement that “it is disappointed that, despite its collaborative offerings, and despite Tread + complying with all applicable security standards, CPSC was unwilling to engage in meaningful discussions with Peloton prior to posting. your inaccurate and misleading information.

“There is no reason to stop using Tread + as long as all safety warnings and instructions are followed,” said the company, which urged users to make sure their training space is free. before starting the machine and having them remove their security key and keep it out of the reach of children when not in use.
