A new report claims to have the availability dates of Apple’s “iPhone 13” and its subsequent debut in “AirPods 3”, although the source is incomplete.
Following recent claims of the launch of the next iPhone in the third week of September, a new report says that the “iPhone 13” family orders will start shortly before, on Friday 17 September. The same report says the “AirPods 3” will be released almost a week later, on Thursday, September 30th.
Chinese publication IT Home quotes tokens from an unspecified e-commerce app, which in turn were first posted on China’s Weibo social networking site. The dates make some sense considering the scheduled date for the Sept. 14 event, but the image could be easily faked or assumed by the e-commerce app’s data provider.
Drafts of this app show four “iPhone 13” models with that same September 17th date, plus a later “AirPods 3” entry for the following week. The list of AirPods mentions that they have an IPX4 water resistance, but there are no other details.
IT Home it doesn’t have a long or strong trajectory in Apple news. More recently, it was claimed that sources say LG Display hopes to increase Apple’s orders for iPhone and iPad OLED displays.
This new announcement of release dates fits at least with analysts’ claims about the new iPhone in the third week of September. A separate report could also be backed up that Apple is planning several launch events during the month.
However, the e-commerce app shows what the presumed availability dates are, which could still mean that both the new iPhones and the new AirPods will be announced at the same event.
