Yesterday, during the PlayStation Showcase, Sony Interactive Entertainment, Aspyr and Lucasfilms Games surprised Star Wars fans with the revelation of Remake of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, a remake of, as the title suggests DIRTY for PS5 and PC. While reports and rumors came as a surprise, no one expected the game to appear at the PlayStation event, let alone if it was a PS5-only console, at least at launch.
That said, it remains to be seen to what extent the remake will be true and faithful. The aforementioned trio notes that the game is being “rebuilt from the beginning”, leaving room for changes and adjustments, although the fact that the “remake” is right in the headline suggests that all changes and adjustments will be quite minor. In any case, we know at least one that doesn’t change, and that’s the cast. The original voice actors are back and it looks like they will be doing all the lines of the game again.
