The Sant Joan CIC is investigating an incident with a minor who was injured in a swimming pool

A one-year-old boy was transported to Pedres River Medical Center after he crashed into the pool of a residence in the street Loíza in San Juan, confirmed the Negotiated by the Police.

Upon arrival, officers found the child who, as detailed in the preliminary report, had drowned in the pool at the residence. However, the circumstances that led to the incident are unknown.

Radiocontrol Sant Joan staff added that the child was transported to the Medical Center but, at the time, they do not know what his condition is.

At the moment the police have not revealed the name of the minor or his parents, or if they are Puerto Ricans or tourists.

Agents of the Homicide Division of the Criminal Investigation Corps (CIC) of Sant Joan are in charge of the investigation.
