The sexiest game in Hades carries five BAFTA Games awards

Disclaimer: This is not one of the real rewards

Last night, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) held its annual BAFTA Games Awards, which featured a cavalcade of excellent premieres from 2020 in hopes to receive recognition from the first British academy of arts and media.

And when the curtain finally fell on the night parties, Supergiant Games’ Hades emerged with the heaviest trophy bag, having won a total of five awards in numerous categories. The ghost dungeon-tracker took the gongs for artistic realization, game design and narrative, with the actor Logan Cunningham winning the “Supporting Role” award for his work, with the voices of numerous underworld characters. Hades completed the night by winning the coveted award for Best Game: a series of well-deserved accolades for a brilliant release.

Despite being nominated in a huge number of 13 categories, Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us Part II only managed to take three prizes: Better animation, the voted by the public EE Game of the Year and actor Laura Bailey winning the lead role for her excellent portrayal of the protagonist / dual antagonist Abby Anderson. From Nintendo Animal Crossing: New Horizons wrapped up as best multiplayer and “Game Beyond Entertainment.” As a banner for the little boys, Phobia Entertainment won the best debut for its fun body horror title, Carrion.
