The shooting left two people injured in Lehigh Walmart County: police

WHITEHALL, PA (WPVI) – Whitehall County police are investigating a shooting Friday at a Lehm County Walmart that left two people injured.

The incident happened shortly before 6 p.m. on Block 2600 on MacArthur Road.

Police say two people were shot.

According to witnesses at the scene, the incident happened very suddenly.

“As we entered the parking lot, we saw one of the Whitehall police cars fly up the main entrance to TJ Maxx and head for Walmart,” said Scott Dias of Upper Macungie. “In a matter of seconds, we saw more than five or six police cars appear.”

Qusai Muhasen, New Jersey, said, “As I walk in, I feel like a ‘boom boom.’ I thought it was an escape from a car or something.”

There is no current word on the status of the victims or any reason.

No further information from officials has been released at this time.
