“I just want it because I’m tired of the isolation and everything else,” said Mastrangelo, who celebrated his 73rd birthday with the COVID-19 vaccine. For her, it was worth the wait and the items.
“I wear a mask every day and we’re restricted, so we have to really do it,” her husband, Joe, said.
“Do you really want to go out in the snow?” everyone said, even if you call me at three in the morning, I’ll be in my pajamas. “

The fire department partnered with Skippack Pharmacy to give a thousand doses to people who would qualify for Phase 1 of Montgomery County.
“The community told me when I did a survey and I asked them,‘ Do you really want to go out in the snow? Everyone said, ‘Even if you call me at three in the morning, I’ll be there in my pajamas,’ ”said Mayank Amin, a pharmacy owner.
This is essentially what happened. This clinic met in less than 36 hours. The pharmacy learned it had the vaccines on Friday. On Saturday night, he sent emails to anyone who had expressed interest in his site.
“At 5am this morning all those squares were full,” Amin said.
Dressed as a Superman, Amin said he is proud that his independent pharmacy has relied on these doses.
“Even though I’m dressed as a superhero today, my superheroes are the ones involved in emergencies, all these health professionals who have put their lives at risk every day for the last year to help save their communities, ”he said.
