The strangest fighters in the company’s history

WWE has not been shy about creating a cast of colorful characters in the past, but sometimes fighters were given characters who were beyond the pale in the strange paths they took. From killer clowns to fighters with the name “Booger” to some “chicken-themed” fighters, we thought we’d take the opportunity to destroy some of the craziest fighters to make appearances in the organization’s past.

Recently, professional wrestler Lars Sullivan had released an original design that was to debut in “Brilliant Behemoth,” a character that looked more like Mr. Hyde than anything else we’d seen before. Even though Lars is no longer part of the WWE as he has left the world of wrestling, we imagine there will be many more crazy fighters coming down the pike.

Who do you think is the craziest fighter that has ever appeared in WWE history? Who is the craziest fighter today on the organization’s roster? Feel free to let us know in the comments or touch me directly on Twitter @EVComedy to talk about all the comics, anime and the world of professional wrestling.

Gobbledy Gooker

In what must have been one of the strangest ideas in WWE history, the Gobbledy Gooker was promoted as a mysterious part of the Survivor series, which emerges from an egg and makes a template in the square circle. Although he did not originally present himself as a fighter, he has become one in recent times Survivor series this made him fun to become the champion 24/7 after a surprise attack on R Truth. A bit ironic of knowledge about this strange creature is that the Undertaker appeared in it Survivor series that yes.

Gall Roig

If you thought there was only one chicken wrestler in the World Wrestling Entertainment stables, you would be wrong. Terry Taylor underwent a strange makeover that changed him to “Red Rooster”, not only giving him a new dress and hairstyle, but also changing his ways and movements to reflect those of the wild bird. Needless to say, the red rooster was not a timeless character in WWE history, but it is definitely remarkable.

The Bushwhackers

I dare try to imagine the Bushwhackers appearing in the WWE today, with their usual modus operandi licking a good chunk of the audience they would come in contact with as they loaded up to the ring. World Wrestling Entertainment’s past had some really weird wrestlers who were related to other countries, with Bushwhackers linked to New Zealand and other wrestlers like The Mountie and the “Wild Samoans” making bizarre appearances. Needless to say, the Bushwhackers are perhaps the most popular fighters you’ll see on this list.

Bastion Booger

At one point, the WWE wondered, “What if we created a ploy for a fighter to make him the most disgusting human being alive?” Enter Bastion Booger. In addition to using moves that would hook everyone watching them, Mike Shaw would enter the ring with one of the weirdest themed songs you could imagine and you can actually check it out above. Ironically, his personality in the WWE was perhaps as strange as he was shown as a “crazy monk” known as the “friar.”

The Repo man

Barry Allen Darsow was actually Smash from the popular WWE team known as Demolition, but he also gave himself a mask and would enter the ring slipping and stealing everything he could as a “Repo Man”. One of the strangest ideas, when it came to these strange characters, was the idea that they had just fallen into the wrestling game, with the Repo Man apparently like a thief similar to McDonald’s Hamburglar who went be a fighter to help you get more and more material possessions.

The lord of war

Terry Szopinski during his heyday as part of World Wrestling Entertainment, then the World Wrestling Federation, was a fighter beast, being muscular during a time when fighters were known for their giant muscles in the 1980s. What made the warlord so strange was his ring attire that would be a Mad Max-style metal mask, with a metal mask on his face, wielding a cane with a giant W While some fighters like Van Vader and Bam Bam Bigelow made their strange appearances work, the warlord was weird just to be weird.

Doink El Pallasso

Matt Osborn’s trick as an evil fighting clown is weird enough on its own, but the character’s longevity is almost as strange. Doink the Clown was not only a WWE trademark, but also appeared in Extreme Championship Wrestling. Doink didn’t take any Joker pages for his misfortune, but would simply tune in during his matches and do so during the ring entries.
