Fans of turn-based tactical role-playing games may be waiting Dark deity, developed by Sword and Ax and published by Freedom Games. The “highly requested” version of Nintendo Switch has been confirmed this week for the 2022 release.
Apparently, the game is inspired by Nintendo Emblem of fire of the series and has been highly praised as a must-have game for fans of this particular genre, with 30 memorable (and voiced) characters in command, more than 50 unlockable classes and hundreds of weapons, spells and skills to unleash the battlefield.
And, like Fire Emblem, there are several paths in the story and difficulty settings to adopt. This also includes an integrated randomizer and a new system that reimagines permadeath. Here’s a little:
“Instead of permanently removing units from the party, the serious injury system gives permanent state sanctions to units when their health reaches zero to emulate physical injury or mental scarring. Units will need to adapt to their wounds and discovering new tactics to achieve victory “.
