The spotlight all pointed to the small and talented Ángela Aguilar, daughter of the popular singer-songwriter Pepe Aguilar. The incident occurred prior to the Saul “Canelo” Alvarez fight that was held on Saturday, May 8th.
It should be noted that the news was made public through social media – which is very common – where the compatriots, quite angry, demanded of the Secretary of the Interior (Segob) which is fine to Pepe Aguilar’s daughter.

The amount that Angela Aguilar almost had to pay to violate the law was for the interpretation of the Mexican National Anthem. The Mexicans were angry and claimed that young Angela broke the law by changing the tune that this traditional song has.

In addition, Article 56 also states that in the event of any of the outstanding prohibitions, the guilty party will be a creditor of any of the fines established.

However, despite the established requirements, Segob issued a statement clarifying that Miss Angela Aguilar did not break the law by singing the National Anthem and has stressed, “The interpretation had no alteration in the lyrics.”
In addition, this statement also highlighted that the intonation could probably sound different from what Mexican society is used to. for having been sung a cappella.

Faced with this response, it was hinted that after so much fuss on social media, there was no administrative punishment for Angela as the event was held abroad.
Faced with the uncertainty of the sum that Angela Aguilar almost had to pay to break the law, It was known that the punishment could have been 250 Times Minimum Wage (VSM) or with the decision to be taken for up to 36 hours.
This makes it very clear that little Aguilar this time he was released from that sanction but it could have received an economic approval of about 35 thousand pesos.
Important is the amount he almost had to pay Angela Aguilar to break the law.
Do you think he had to pay a fine or is the claim unfair?
