As we approach mid-2021, more video game events are starting to begin. We’ve already had a Nintendo Direct and a few other third-party events, and by the end of this year E3 will be back in fully digital format.
Now, to add to that, it has been announced that the summer of Game Game Fest is back. As Geoff Keighley pointed out, it will be a “concentrated and spectacular global showcase” focused on the future of video games. Expect images of new, exclusive games and more.
As part of that, the Double Fine and iam8bit “Double of the Devs” showcase will be back. According to Geoff, if you’re a developer with a game, you have until April 9 to submit it. There are also no costs or fees to participate.
“We’re looking for games from small and large studios, with a big focus on celebrating multiple voices. Feel free to submit your title.”
