The official website of Super Nintendo World, the Nintendo theme park that will open at Universal Studios Japan next month, is now available.
With smart, colorful interactive transitions that let you fly through the park, the website provides more details on important details, such as travel information and pricing. Let’s start with the latter: it’s always worth knowing how much money we spend on new things from Nintendo, right?
The following table shows the original prices of the Japanese tickets (including taxes). GBP and USD conversions are correct as of today, January 6th.
Adults [Age 12 or over] | Children [Ages 4 to 11] | Majors [Age 65 or over] | |
One-day study pass | 7. 7,800 (approximately $ 76 / £ 56) | 5. 5,400 (approximately $ 53 / £ 38) | 7 7,100 (approximately $ 69 / £ 51) |
2-day study pass | 15 15,400 (approx. $ 150 / £ 110) | 10. 10,500 (approximately $ 102 / £ 75) |
Tickets will be available for purchase both online and at the park entrance, with sellers in English listed on the official website for those traveling from abroad.
Both Mario Kart and Yoshi races each have their own sections on the website, which offer a quick overview of what to expect and list all the requirements you need to meet to see them (see below). You will also find a few more details of the merchandise and food available, although we already knew that.
Remember that the park will open to the public on February 4th. If you missed it, be sure to check out pictures of Yoshi Walk, photos of the park and the official map of the park, and a video of the park tour presented by none other than Shigeru Miyamoto.
